#1 Curtains are ready!

There are exciting news at my Home of 4 Projects! The one of the projects - curtains - is ready :) It didn't take a lot of time - I was busy just one weekend with them. I'd like to add something to the left side also, but  not textile - it will steal light and we don't have a lot in this room..

So, what will be next?..

Sunday at Home of 4 projects

Today I spent almost all the day behind stitching machine trying to make curtains. Finally the one part is finished and hanged up. For the second one I still need one thing to buy. Here is a bit of process

And yesterday I got added evidence that there always may be something interesting just around the corner - you just have to keep your eyes open and don't get the same way every day. I've found small shop with a lot of stuff for scrap, bijouterie-making and other things a plenty! I didn't have enough time to have a good look at everything, but I've found what I needed for my earrings. Like magic )

I still don't have this round pliers, but may be I could manage without? Anyway, there are still another 3 things to do! ♥

Earrings - first results

My first attempt to make earrings. Finally it looks like earrings, but I'm not satisfied. But I know now what materials I need to find.

1) First of all, round pliers;

2) then, two "pendents";

3) also I need "Plated Ribbon Crimp Ends"! It was so difficult to find the name for it...

4) then may be ribbon and.. That's it! :)

Home of 4 projects

It's sometimes difficult to find enough time for all the things I love. And I thought - what if.. What if I make a project and list (I love lists!) of only four projects, that I want to be done as soon as possible? But small ones, like finish an embroidery that I've been trying to finish for one year already. Something small but what I don't have enough time for - there is always something more important and urgent. And may be, I thought, if it will take a form of project, may be than I'll think about it more seriously? So, I decided to try. There are 4 particular things I want to do for a long time already: make a dress for pregnancy, finish one of 3 cross-stitchings, sew curtains for the bedroom and made earrings. I didn't sew anything since may be 10 years ago, so it will be quite a challenge. The other two things aren't so global. So it will be not so difficult to start. Anyway, I have almost all the materials. And, what is most important, I do have picture :)


Here is my cross-stitching for the moment.


Not so impressive, right? Let's see what I'll have after a while.

Ah, and I should describe the rules. It's a sort of game, right? I didn't decide yet about the deadline. 2 month may be? I already see sewing a dress :) The entire project should be finished in the same structure as it was announced - so no replacements. What else? I'll think about it..

So, we'll see!
